App Menu and Shortcuts
Everything one shortcut away, even while a terminal has the keyboard.
The ☰ button on top of the left stripe opens the app menu: New File (⌘N), New Terminal (⌘T), Open File… (⌘O), Close Tab (⌘W); the last six things worked on and More Recent… (⌘E); Settings (⌘,), Send Feedback…, Check for Updates…, About Anxeb Terminal and Quit (⌘Q). Every entry has its icon.
The shortcuts work wherever the focus is, a terminal included, while no dialog is open. Inside the editor, ⌘F finds, ⌘L goes to a line and ⌘S saves.
What it does
- App menu with icons and shortcuts shown.
- Recent items right in the menu.
- Global shortcuts that terminals do not swallow.
How it behaves
- Shortcuts are off while a dialog is open.
Why it matters
- Keyboard-first, like a terminal should be.
