Recent Items

What you worked on lately, right in the menu and one ⌘E away: projects, servers, AI sessions, files, folders.

Anxeb Terminal remembers what the user works on: projects, SSH hosts, AI sessions, files (local or of a host) and the folders of local terminals. Opening any of them again moves it to the top.

The app menu lists the last six, each with the icon of its kind, and opens one with a click. More Recent… (⌘E, from anywhere) opens the Recent dialog near the top of the window: every recent item with its icon, its name, where it is (the user and host, the folder, the group of a project) and how long ago.

A search box filters as it is typed. The arrows move, Enter opens and Escape leaves. The cross of an item takes it off the list; Clear empties it and Close leaves, as the buttons of any dialog.

What it does

  • Projects, hosts, AI sessions, files and folders in one list.
  • The last six in the app menu.
  • A searchable dialog with ⌘E, keyboard first.
  • Remove one, or clear them all.

How it behaves

  • An item already open comes to the front instead of opening twice.
  • An AI session open in another terminal asks first.
  • Every window shares the list.

Why it matters

  • Back to what you were doing in two keystrokes.
