Project Remote Hostsnew · 1.6

The servers of a project in its own tab: an SSH session of the project, with its Live Monitor beside.

A project can work on one or several of the remote hosts (Remote Hosts tab of its form, or Set Remote Hosts in its menu: every host by group, with a search box that stays in view). Its header then shows them under Specialists: one as a pill with the same menu as in Remote Hosts, several in a chooser.

The Remote pane, last of the project tab and with a shortcut beside Session, opens an SSH session of the project on the host chosen, apart from the tabs of that host. Each host keeps its own session while the tab of the project is open; they end with it. Its bar names the host in pale yellow and carries Live Monitor (the tab splits 75/25, the monitor of that host under the terminal), Sudo Login, Browse Files and Reconnect.

The Remote shortcut beats green while a session of the project is connected.

What it does

  • Remote hosts per project, picked by group with search.
  • A pill or a chooser in the header of the project.
  • An SSH session of the project per host, kept with its tab.
  • Live Monitor under the session, Sudo Login, Browse Files, Reconnect.

How it behaves

  • A host deleted is let go by every project that had it.

Why it matters

  • Open a project and its servers are right there.
