Tasks: Forms, Classification and Chatnew · 1.6
Every task with its form, its group and category, its context, assets, chat and activity.
A task has a form (Edit in its menu, or New Task): title, a code of its own (WEB-12), state (Draft, Pending, Working, Review, Done), priority (Critical, High, Normal, Low), specialist (an agent, Me, or No one) with Start working when saved, a group and a category, and the tasks it waits for. Its Specialist tab sets what its agent may do on it.
Groups belong to each project (its areas: Checkout, Media, SEO…) and categories are shared by every project: Feature, Bug, Test, Docs and Ops at first. Both are managed from the form itself, with New and Edit (and Delete, after asking) beside each field. In the backlog the group shows in a pill beside the code of the task and the category at the right of its title, each faint in its color.
A click on a task opens its detail on the right: its header (state, priority, category, group, specialist, prerequisites, each a chip with its menu) and four tabs: Context (its notes in markdown), Assets (its files), Chat (the conversation on it, where the user, the agents and the application write; Send to session in its bar sends a comment to the session of the project too) and Activity.
The backlog sorts Manual (drag to reorder), or by State, Date, Title, Priority, Group or Category, reversed or not, kept per project. ⌘-click and ⇧-click pick several tasks (⇧ follows the order shown) for the menu of Actions: state, priority, specialist, prerequisites, Prompt. Done tasks can be archived out of the backlog and shown again with Show Archive. Each project has a task template every new task starts its context with.
