Wide Monitor Dashboard

The Live Monitor as a dashboard under your terminal: stats, trends, disks and processes in one strip.

Live Monitor has a wide twin in the bottom panel. It shows the host as one line of stats (hostname, local IP, public IP, system, kernel, uptime, load), then processor, memory, network, and disks with processes, side by side. It is never narrower than 900 px and grows with the window.

The host picker and the refresh interval (500 ms, 1 s, 2 s, 3 s, 5 s, 10 s) sit at the left of the stats line. Network figures are as large as those of the processor and memory, with their peak in the trend. Only one of the twins is in view at a time; the header of one swaps it for the other.

A detached SSH window opens with this dashboard under the session and Remote Files at the right.

What it does

  • Dashboard layout: stats line plus four columns.
  • Trends for processor, memory and network with peak marks.
  • Refresh interval picker, remembered.
  • Swaps with the side Live Monitor.

How it behaves

  • Shares readings and history with the side Live Monitor.

Why it matters

  • A NOC-style view of the server you are working on, under the shell.
