Extended Prompt
A real editor under every AI session to write long prompts, kept as you type and sent with ⌘Enter.
Every AI session tab has an Extended Prompt: the note button in its tab bar, beside the splits, opens a box under the session, in the font of the terminal. Long prompts, lists and pasted code are comfortable to write there instead of in the one-line input of the agent.
The box starts at a quarter of the tab, and the minimalist divider over it drags to make it taller or shorter. Its bar has Clear, Close and Send. Send (or ⌘Enter) types the text into the session and presses Enter; the box empties and folds away.
Each session keeps its own prompt: what was typed is saved as it is typed, and a prompt left open is open again the next time the session is, even after a restart.
Splitting an AI session works as any other split now: it takes half of the room and opens a scratch note beside it, for notes that are not for the agent.
What it does
- A prompt editor under every AI session, one click away.
- Draggable divider; starts at 25% of the tab.
- Send with ⌘Enter: types, submits, empties and folds.
- Text and open state kept per session, across restarts.
How it behaves
- Send waits until the session can take the text.
- The text is saved a moment after the last keystroke.
Why it matters
- Write prompts like documents, not in a cramped input line.
- Your half-written prompt is still there tomorrow.
