Active Sessions and Claude Usage

Your Claude plan limits and everything running right now, AI agents and SSH sessions, in one tool.

Active Sessions shows the usage of the Claude account: the current session (a five-hour window) and the current week, each with a bar, the share used and the time left until it resets. Under a dotted line it lists what runs: one stat per count (SSH, Sudo, AI, Working), the Claude Code sessions at work on this Mac, then every SSH session open in a tab.

A Claude session row shows its group over its alias, its estimated cost, how long it has run and its model, and a bar of how full its context window is. The row bar is green and beats while the session works. An SSH session row shows its parent or group, the user (root in red), time connected, time since its last output, the hosts it jumps through, its VPNs and how much it has shown. Its bar is yellow while connecting, green once in, red while root.

Usage comes from the source Claude Code documents for following the limits of an account: the JSON that it hands its status line. The user turns on usage reporting once. The app asks Anthropic for nothing and reads no credentials, and the user's own status line keeps looking the same.

A click brings a session's tab to the front. Its key is Sudo Login, its cross closes it (asking first when root), and its menu has Close; in the full app it also has Detach.

What it does

  • Five-hour and weekly Claude limits with reset countdowns.
  • Counts of SSH, sudo, AI and working sessions.
  • Per-session cost, duration, model and context fill.
  • SSH sessions with user, uptime, idle time, jumps, VPNs and traffic.
  • Close, Sudo Login and focus from the list.

How it behaves

  • Figures are as fresh as the last status line any local Claude Code session drew.

Why it matters

  • Never hit your Claude limit by surprise; see every agent and shell at once.
